The Tiburon Medical Low Profile Finger Splint PIP Extension is an affordable, easy way to increase proximal interphalangeal joints contraindicated for fixed contractures. The PIP extension is easy to apply, with the curved lateral wires proximal, slide the finger into the splint. Next position the distal finger band at or proximal to DIP (distal interphalangeal) joint and the Dorsal pad proximal to PIP joint. The Proximal band will be placed at metacarpal head.
The Low Profile Finger Splint is very comfortable as well; it features closed cell foam and stainless steel wire construction. The PIP extension is easy to fit and features contoured pads and bands for improved fit. The Tiburon Medical Low Profile Finger Splint PIP Extension is latex free.
